KUCHING URBAN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (KUTS) – SAMARAHAN BLUE LINE
The Sarawak Government through Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (SMSB) intends to design, build and commission the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS), aiming to serve as the backbone of public transport system of Greater Kuching. KUTS will adopt hydrogen powered vehicles (H2V) and the use of hydrogen powered feeder buses in serving the alignment.
The Samarahan Blue Line - Rembus to Hikmah Exchange is approximately 27km in length, consisting of fourteen (14) stations with one (1) interchange station at Simpang Tiga, one (1) main station at Hikmah Exchange and one (1) Heavy Maintenance Depot at Rembus.
Minsar is a JV partner (KMKJV) delivering the Detailed Design Consultancy services for the Samarahan Blue Line.
